Prior to winning of piglets, make sure that the pen where you intend to transfer the piglets is cleaned days before the day of the transfer. You may use antibacterial spray (there are branded sprays) or use the natural way – boil some madre cacao and sprinkle the water to the flooring and sidings of the pen.
It is
also preferable if the pen (especially the flooring) is dry when you transfer
the piglets to avoid contamination and the initiation of transferable diseases.
